I am Augustine, born August 18th, 1982. An average guy, from an average family. Life was never easy for me. My dad let us when I was 12. My mom had to raise both me and my younger sister all by herself.
We had to move out of the house that we grew up in cause my mom couldn't pay the mortgage. All I remember was within the next few years, we moved at least 10 times. There were times when all my mom could afford was a 10 foot room.
But my mom was always optimistic. She always told us to smile. She said if you start smiling from the morning, your day will turn out to be a wonderful one. She also told us that your smile can light up someone's life as well.
And now, after all these years, I would still wake up every morning, and no matter how hard life is, I would put on a big smile before walking out the door.
